Foster Fair

How would you like to be a hero to a homeless pet? Attend our upcoming Foster Fair on June 10^th to learn about our foster care program and how you can be a part of the team. While you’re visiting, be sure to mention that you’re there for the Foster Fair and you’ll be entered to win a specially curated dog or cat themed basket. You can take a look at the pets that are hoping for a temporary foster home and even try out fostering for the weekend or longer.

Pets of all ages are available to foster. As a special incentive to those willing to try fostering out, we’re offering 10 swag bags to the first 10 people who offer to open to home and heart to a pet in need. In addition, if you foster for at least two weeks, we’ll gift you with a $100 gift card* as a thank you for helping out a homeless pet. Don’t forget to share pictures, videos, and anecdotes about your foster pet’s experience. You’ll be able to witness a different side of these pets, often discovering silly or quirky parts of their personality. We’d love to share this “insider” information with potential adopters to help that pet find its home faster.  

Fostering for Mary S. Roberts Pet Adoption Center is easy and fun. Plus, you get the added benefit of cuddles, cuteness, and comic relief from your foster’s antics. In addition, fostering helps our organization out tremendously. When pets go into foster, we have more open kennels to help other dogs, puppies, cats, or kittens who need our assistance. Most importantly though, is the pet(s) you foster have a comfortable, stress-free, and safe environment to grow, heal, relax, and get ready for adoption.

*Requirements to receive $100 thank you gift card. You must go through foster orientation (done at the Foster Fair before you leave). The pet must be fostered by you for at least two weeks. You must also provide pictures of the pet while in foster and fill out the report card upon the pet’s return.
